My therapy is a hands on treatment based on the osteopathic relationship between our structure & function, and the understanding that our bodies work as a unit. I use a combination of joint mobilizations, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue & facial therapy, and exercises to help balance & nourish the body which will help it to self regulate, self heal, and balance structure & function.

My treatments are available for all populations ages 7+. As a mother of two, I have a soft spot for pre & post natal mothers, peri-menopausal women, and children. I also love working with the nervous system, digestive and respiratory systems allowing the body the opportunity to really work its magic, and have a strong focus in headache/migraine management, back pain, hip pain and postural correction.

Movement, mobility, and strength training have always been part of my therapy and treatment plans. Our bodies allow us to participate and engage in activities on a daily basis - it is important to make sure we are reinforcing the relationship between our structure and function, and this is done through movement. You are meant to move!

My studies and background in Kinesiology and Health Sciences, and experience working with the Umana Health team in Toronto, Ontario, have provided me with tools to help you find a form of movement that is right for you.

Laura Hubley

I am so excited to meet you and tell you a little bit about myself and my healthcare journey. I graduated in 2004, receiving a Specialized Honors Degree in Kinesiology & Health Sciences from York University. After graduation I jumped right into the exercise therapy field and practiced as a Registered Kinesiologist in Ontario for 20 years; providing functional & dynamic rehabilitative programs, focusing on core strength, posture, stability, balance, and mobility.

In 2016 I returned to school and received my Diploma in Manual Osteopathic Practice. This gentle manual therapy provides a holistic treatment, which aides with decreasing pain, improving range of motion, posture correction and improved body function. I have a strong focus on Women's health, pelvic health, low back pain, neck pain, headaches & Migraines, while calming the nervous system to help the body maintain a neutral state, in which it can heal, repair and move.

My love for animals & personal experience with my Chocolate Lab Mokey, introduced me to the canine rehab world. After taking my senior girl to a chiropractor in Toronto for a year, I witness the benefits of hands on care and exercises for our fur babies aches, pains and overall health & wellness. I am excited to start my studies in Canine Osteopathy at the London College of Animal Osteopathy and provide health services to my clients and their doggies!

I am a mother of two busy kids, and love spending my free time with my husband, son & daughter and our new Golden Doodle. You’ll likely find me at a farmers market on the weekend, on a beach in the summer, or at a park with my kids.

Be sure to stop and say HI!

I’m a chiropractor who worked alongside Laura for 4 years and I can say she is an incredibly skilled osteopath. She connects with her patients, creating a trusting environment for healing to occur and has a great manual therapy skill set. Any patient of mine that has worked with her had nothing but great things to say about her care and I can attest to that having been treated by her many times. Would highly recommend Laura ~ Dr. Mackey

I have had severe rib pain for ten years. I was seen by physio, massage, md’s, chiro, and an acupuncturist and nothing seemed to dull the pain for more than a few days. Last summer I saw Laura and after one treatment the pain was gone. I haven’t noticed pain in my ribs one time since that appointment and I am forever grateful! PEI is so lucky to have this amazing practitioner now living here! ~Amy P

Laura was my Osteopath in Toronto for hmmm I want to say 4 years? I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is and how well she treated me through her practice. I’m sad she’s no longer here but thrilled for her next chapter. Please book an appointment with her. You will not be disappointed. Your body will thank you! ~ Jenn S

I was going to see Laura for a few years in Toronto and she helped me immensely with a multitude of problems i was having from ankle surgery rehab, hamstring, back, neck, sciatic nerve issues, and Performa syndrome. She is amazing at what she does, and her attention to detail and how she explains to you what is going on with diagrams and photos make a world of difference. I would highly recommend her services, and she is a lovely person which makes going to see her such a treat.
